General information

We are very excited to finally have another face-to-face conference, after three years of meeting virtually due to the COVID pandemic.  So, after our last in-person conference in Paris, in 2019, the AGIFORS Airline Operations 2023 Study Group Meeting will be scheduled for Tuesday, June 6 through Friday, June 9, 2023 in historic and beautiful Mexico City in conjunction with our host Aeroméxico.


In addition to a robust technical program, we will once again return to having a social program.  Our 2023 social program for this conference will include an afternoon visit to the great pyramids of the Sun and the Moon at Teotihuacan, on the outskirts of Mexico City.

Come and share with us your ideas, thoughts, current trends, philosophies, and latest technological advances on any of the above topics. We look forward to seeing you in 2023 in Mexico City!

Hotel

The venue for this year's conference is the Sheraton Maria Isabel Reforma - a beautiful and luxurious hotel centrally located in the business heart of Mexico City. 

Here you can see the view of the main avenue of Mexico City's commercial district - Reforma -from a window of the Sheraton.

We will also be providing free shuttle service to one of the world's finest museums - the Museo Antropologico - 13,000 years of human history in Mexico

Conference Keynote



The keynote speaker for the conference is Santiago Diago, COO of Aeromexico.  He will be speaking the morning of Tuesday, June 6.

Conference registration

The delegate registration fee includes conference technical materials, all scheduled meals and social events outlined in the meeting agenda (delegate registration only).  The registration fees are as follows:
  • Airline member delegates: US$350
  • Academic member delegates: US$450
  • All other member delegates: US$850
  • All non-member delegates:  Add US$100 to your appropriate category above
  • Late registration: The above rates apply until May 20.  After that US$100 will be added to all categories for late registration.
  • Social guest registration: Registrants can also add social guests for US$200, to attend all social events.  A "social guest" is a spouse, partner, child, or friend and is not a business colleague.  A "social guest" may not attend the technical program.

Conference Overview

A forum for airline senior managers, airline personnel, vendors, and members of academia to review the most pressing issues facing airline operations today, offer potential solutions, and provide opportunity for high level networking
The theme of this year's conference is 

"Airline Resiliency from Disruptive Events: Modernizing the Planning Process, Tools, and Technology for Fast Recovery"

This conference aims to promote the development of strategies and tools to help airlines recover quickly and efficiently from disruptive events and measure the effectiveness of decisions and tools, both operationally, environmentally, and financially.
