Content

The highly uncertain and dynamic aviation industry demands our decision-making techniques constantly evolve and adapt to the ever changing conditions.  Developing analytics driven methods and leveraging advanced techniques offers improvements in maintenance operations efficiency, increased resiliency, higher aircraft reliability, and improved operations performance.

Joint Sessions with the Airline Operations Study Group

This year’s conference is being organized once again in conjunction with the AGIFORS Airline Operations study group to promote a vibrant dialog on topics that touch these business areas.

Topics

The theme of this year's conference is robust and resilient Maintenance Operations in the face of disruptions, including weather and disaster.  Leveraging tools and technologies to build robust plans, recover fast, and collaborate more efficiently within and across departments.

The aviation industry operates in a dynamic environment.  As such, airlines operations, including Maintenance operations need to adapt to changing and often disruptive conditions.  While success is never a guarantee, robust and resilient planning plays a key role in mitigating the effect of disruptions.  Analytics driven methods and advanced techniques when applied in a collaborative decision-making process can be leveraged to enable efficient maintenance operations thereby improving operational reliability, a key component to maintaining a competitive advantage.

We welcome submissions that address the following topics and any relevant topics outside of them:

  • Predictive maintenance
  • Maintenance planning and (production) scheduling
  • Maintenance repair recommendation engines
  • Aircraft reliability
  • Fleet performance
  • Operational efficiency
  • Asset management
  • Spare part demand forecasting
  • Spare parts and inventory planning
  • Manpower planning and training
  • Collaborative decision-making impacting maintenance planning

Come and share with us your ideas, thoughts, current trends, philosophies, and latest technological advances on any of the above topics.

For any questions, please contact us at maintenance@agifors.org .
