The conference will be held starting the evening of Monday, June 10 and ending Friday afternoon, June 14, with Operations running in parallel with Maintenance. Watch this space for final details, which will be posted as they develop.

Venue & AccommodationOur conference venue is the Marriott Hotel in beautiful downtown Hamburg. We have a block of rooms for the first 60 delegates to reserve available at a discounted rate of €240 at the Marriott, and an additional 60 rooms at a rate of €220 at the Renaissance Hotel, 3 blocks away. Keynote SpeakerOur keynote speaker is Thomas Rückert, SVP and CIO Lufthansa Group Thomas Rückert has taken over the position as Chief Information Officer of the Lufthansa Group on January 1, 2021. He joined Lufthansa Technik as a trainee in 1995. Over the past 28 years, the 53-year-old industrial engineer (TU Darmstadt) has held various positions at Lufthansa Technik in Germany, Ireland and the Philippines. Most recently, as Vice President Maintenance Services, he headed Lufthansa Technik's worldwide overhaul network. As Group CIO, Thomas Rückert reports directly to Detlef Kayser, board member of Deutsche Lufthansa AG and responsible for commercial and technical fleet management, IT, procurement as well as operational standards and processes. In addition to driving and implementing the Group’s IT strategy, Thomas is also responsible for IT security, IT infrastructure and coordinating the Lufthansa Group’s digitalization projects. AGIFORS sets its registration fees for airline staff and academics as low as possible. The philosophy behind this is that academics are likely to enter new lines of thought into our field, and having a strong presence by airlines brings great value to both the vendors and the airlines. Sponsorships are used to lower the registration rates for airlines and academics. Sponsorships are available at three levels: Gold: $5,000; Silver: $3,500; Bronze: $2,000. The different levels give you differing capabilities to advertise your products in the presentation program and meeting events. There are no more Gold sponsorships available, but at the Silver level you get to give a 15 minute sales presentation during the main technical program in the main part of the day.
