    Join us and share with the SSP community your ideas, thoughts, recent research, current trends, philosophies, and latest technological advances. Major topics to be discussed and reviewed relate to recovery efforts, demand forecasting, market share forecasting, robust scheduling, fleet assignment, network strategies, codeshare/alliance decisions, maintenance routing, collaboration between schedule optimization and operations, and many more.

    Virtual event Spring 2021

    Due to travel restictions as a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic the Agifors Council has decided to make all study group meetings in spring 2021 a virtual event. 


    Major topics to be discussed and reviewed relate to Manpower Planning, Crew Operational Disruption Management, Crew Rosters, Preferential Bidding, Crew Recovery, Crew Systems Access, System Integration, Airline Integrated Solutions, KPIs and Post-operation analysis, Machine Learning, Crew Management Systems and the impact of industry changes on crew management. 

    Come and share with us your ideas, thoughts, current trends, philosophies, and latest technological advances on any of the above topics.

    As we are still very much in the Covid-19 pandemic, we would like to hear your story. How did your corganzation copes with the situation, what you have learned from this, and how do you plan to move forward from here.
    It would benefit our community a lot if we get to hear how you were able to modify your systems, procedures, and optimizers to deal with the new normality.

      • This year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, once again the conference is being held online.
      The agenda will take into account that we are trying to accommodate many time zones
        • Conference theme: 
          1. As we transition into post-COVID era, how have the operations changed, either temporarily or permanently? What are the operational problems you are trying to solve before and after COVID?
          2. What are the challenges in the recovery phase and how have you addressed them?
          3. Are there any lessons learned from COVID time that you are able to or planning to apply to “normal” operation?
          4. How can OR technologies and solutions be adapted/developed to assist in the recovery from COVID
        • A forum for airline senior managers, airline personnel, vendors, and members of academia to review the most pressing issues facing airline operations today, offer potential solutions, and provide opportunity for high level networking
        • Airline updates on what’s the latest happenings and plans in the near term for new business processes, systems replacements and/or upgrades
        • Technical presentations from leading experts in the airline industry
        • A special AGIFORS MRO breakout session this year, with technical presentations
