General Information

AGIFORS Aircraft Maintenance Operations 2020 Special Session will be held as a virtual conference 1 June - 5 June, 2020

All sessions will be conducted online.

As the aviation industry responds to the COVID-19 crisis, analytical tools are needed to help airlines recover under uncertain and dynamic conditions.

This special conference will bring together airlines and aviation experts in an online forum to gain an understanding of the current situation, to  study the crucial topics and discuss how to move forward from the current crisis.  We will work with the airline and academic intellectual experts; and the software & service providers to examine and define what might be the most effective measures enabling recovery.

Joint Sessions with the AGIFORS Airline Operations Study Group

This year’s conference is being organized once again in conjunction with the AGIFORS Airline Operations study group to promote a vibrant dialog on topics that touch these business areas.

In addition to topics related to COVID-19 responses, the special session also includes the traditional analytics work in aircraft maintenance, such as predictive maintenance, maintenance planning and scheduling, aircraft reliability, fleet performance, operational efficiency, asset management, spare parts planning, manpower planning and training.

Come and share with us your ideas, thoughts, current trends, philosophies, and latest technological advances on any of the above topics.

We also wish to inform you that in 2021, thanks to the graciousness of Oman Air, we will have the conference in Muscat, Oman – as we had planned for this year!
