Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and building upon the success of the virtual Annual Symposium last October, the Agifors Council has decided to organize all study group meetings ONLINE in 2021.

We are therefore very excited to announce that the first virtual Revenue Management SG meeting will be held on May 4-6, 2021. 

The conference will consist of 3 sessions of 4 hours each, starting at 13:00 UTC and finishing at 17:00 UTC. We hope that this setup will allow most of our attendees to attend the presentations at a reasonable time.

In these exceptional times, AGIFORS decided to support the airline community by significantly reducing the registration fees to its 2021 events.

Call For Presentations

The success of this conference also depends on you: please submit a presentation

All topics in the area of reservations and revenue management systems and activities are covered by this Study Group of AGIFORS. These include, among others, revenue optimization, overbooking management, demand forecasting, airline distribution, marketing issues that are RM-related, migration from leg-based to O&D-based systems, O&D abuse, and choice-based RM optimization.

Of course this year we would also love to hear more about the short- and long-term impacts of the COVID-19 on the revenue management process, including data analysis and decision-making. 

Requirements:

  • A 15-20 minutes presentation, followed by 5-10 minutes of Q&A's.
  • Willingness to comply with requests for additional information and clarification on abstract and/or presentation material.
  • Willingness to tailor a presentation for the AGIFORS RM audience and to accept direction from the selection committee in doing this.
  • Commitment to register and attend the meeting.
