Join us on May 22-24 in Santiago de Chile

On-site event Autumn/Spring 2023, co-hosted with LATAM

In 2023 we will, finally meet in person again. It's been to long!

So, let us all meet in Santiago de Chile to discuss what has happened in Crew Management in the last year, and what exiting things we are developing for the future.

The event will take place on May 22-24, 2023, and will be proudly co-hosted by LATAM.

Overview

Major topics to be discussed and reviewed relate to Manpower Planning, Crew Operational Disruption Management, Crew Rosters, Preferential Bidding, Crew Recovery, Crew Systems Access, System Integration, Airline Integrated Solutions, KPIs and Post-operation analysis, Machine Learning, Crew Management Systems and the impact of industry changes on crew management.

Come and share with us your ideas, thoughts, current trends, philosophies, and latest technological advances on any of the above topics.

Workforce Management

The focus of this studygroup is OR as used within the Crew Managemernt process. But, as there are quite a few similarities (and also a lot of differences) between Crew Management  and workforce Management in for instance Ground Services or Aircraft Maintenance, it may well be of interest for anybody involved in these areas.
So, if you are working in an area that does workforce optimization that does not invlove crew: by all means keep a look out as our agenda fills up to see if this would be of interest to you as well.

Registration

  • Airline: USD 300 for AGIFORS members (register here for free membership),
    Non-members pay USD 350.
  • Academics/Industry/Government: USD 600
  • Vendor: USD 1,000

Cancellation is possible up to two weeks prior to the event (we prefer not to of course), with a fee of USD 100 to cover the expenses made. After that a refund is not possible anymore.

Santiago de Chile

General Info

Capital of the Republic of Chile, Santiago is the cultural, administrative and financial center, and the most important metropolis in the country.

Also known by the name of Greater Santiago, it is located in the Maipo Valley, surrounded by the Coast Mountain Range to the West and by the Chacabuco and Angostura Ranges to the North and South, respectively. The Andes Mountain Range closes the frame of the city in the East.

Weather

May is a great month to enjoy this diverse, far-flung country. Crowds are long gone with summer, and it's still too early for skiing. Autumn, then, is the time to head to the country's great outdoors to enjoy the foliage and observe spectacular landscapes in peace.

Sponsors

The policy of AGIFORS for all their meetings are to have the registration fee for Airline staff and Academics as low as possible. The philosophy behind this is that academics are likely to enter new lines of thought into our field, and having a strong presence by airlines brings great value to both the vendors and the airlines.
It would therefore be great if
your organisation could this year be one of our sponsors
