At the first meeting of the newly elected AGIFORS Council, held in conjunction with last week's annual symposium, council members were appointed to the following leadership positions:

• President: Richard Cléaz-Savoyen (Air Canada)
• Vice President: Sémi Gabteni (Groupe ADP)
• Secretary: Lisa Noell (Boeing)
• Treasurer: Eric Ruhlin (United Airlines)
• Marketing: Sébastien Lemaire (Air France)
• Symposium Technical Chair: Sergey Shebalov (Sabre)
• Communications/Webmaster: Bazyli Szymanski (easyJet)
• Past President: David Foster (Delta Air Lines)

In addition, the Council appointed two ad hoc members to support the organization and delivery of future symposia:

• Symposium Chair: Caroline Dietrich (Air Canada)
• Symposium Technical Co-Chair: Claudia Bongiovanni (SWISS International Air Lines)

The newly formed Council brings together a diverse group of aviation industry leaders and experts who will help guide the activities, initiatives, and strategic direction of AGIFORS over the next 3 years.
