Host City - Montreal

Montreal is one of North America’s most dynamic and cosmopolitan cities. Known for its unique blend of European charm and modern innovation, Montreal is the world’s second-largest French-speaking city and a leading hub for business, culture, and international collaboration.

The city is widely recognized as Canada’s cultural capital, offering a vibrant arts scene, historic architecture, and more than 100 annual festivals—including the world-renowned Montreal International Jazz Festival. Its rich heritage is reflected in iconic districts such as Old Montreal, as well as landmarks like Mount Royal, which gives the city its name and provides sweeping views of the skyline.

Beyond business, visitors can enjoy Montreal’s renowned culinary scene, diverse neighborhoods, and lively summer atmosphere, which attracts over 11 million visitors annually. From its historic streets to its cutting-edge industries—including aerospace, artificial intelligence, and transportation—Montreal offers an inspiring setting for innovation, collaboration, and strategic dialogue.

Montreal is a leading North American hub for aviation, aerospace, and international connectivity, making it an ideal setting for discussions on airline scheduling and strategic planning. Strategically located between Europe and North America, the city offers convenient access to major global markets through Montréal–Trudeau International Airport, one of Canada’s busiest and most efficient international gateways.

Montreal is home to one of the world’s most concentrated aerospace clusters, anchored by global organizations such as International Air Transport Association, which has its headquarters in the city, and major industry players like Air Canada. The broader ecosystem includes aircraft manufacturers, MRO providers, technology firms, and research institutions, positioning Montreal at the forefront of aviation innovation and operations.

Here are some suggestions for what to do in Montreal: 25 Best and Fun Things to Do in Montreal in July

Weather

July in Montreal offers warm, summery conditions with long daylight hours and a lively atmosphere across the city.

  • Temperature: Daytime highs typically range from 25–28°C (77–82°F), with evenings cooling to around 16–18°C (61–64°F)

  • Humidity: Moderate to high humidity is common, which can make it feel warmer - especially during peak afternoon hours

  • Rainfall: Expect occasional showers or thunderstorms, usually short-lived, with about 10–15 rainy days in the month

  • Sunshine & Daylight: Long summer days provide 9–10 hours of sunshine and over 15 hours of daylight, ideal for networking and evening events

  • Plan for light summer clothing, with a light layer for air-conditioned venues and occasional rain
